Mrs. Luvizminda Asendiente Suico ranked 3rd among the seven newly elected Kagawads in the recently concluded elections in Brgy Alegria. She is the daughter of Clemente and Salud Asendiente who are among the most respected elders of the community.
Like a good father, Hon. Mayor Jun Diamante went from barangay to barangay reminding his people to choose the ones dictated by their conscience.
The mayor's popularity has since taking over the leadership been growing as he laid out a number of plans in making the entire town know not only to the country but internationally as well. Indeed loved by the masses, people from different barangays gathered together to hear the mayor as he talked about the direction this beautiful municipality will be heading for with him holding the reins.
On November 30, the town mayor will lead the entire community to light the biggest Christmas tree in the Cebu province. Presently, a stage near the town port has been constructed open to everybody who wants to join the much anticipated event.
